Blocking unwanted emails in Gmail can help you reduce spam and improve your inbox experience. This guide will walk you through simple steps to block a sender and prevent future messages from cluttering your inbox.
There are two different ways you can get rid of unwanted emails. The first way is to open an email they’ve sent you, click on the three dots, and select Block “name”. This way, whenever they email you, their emails will automatically be sent to your spam folder. The second way you can block an email is by clicking the gear icon, selecting "See all settings", and going to "Filters" and "blocked addresses".
There you can create a new filter that will automatically perform a specific action on emails fitting its criteria. It can, for example, automatically delete those emails or send them to a specific folder.
