Updated Kanbanchi Gantt chart & Milestones: fresh interface and brand new features
Certainly, 2020 has been a tough year for the whole world. During it, Kanbanchi team has tried hard to support our community and please users with new features and improvements. And we are particularly happy to end the year with a big release – the updated Kanbanchi Gantt chart and milestones.
First things first – the interface
The new Kanbanchi Gantt chart has got changed. The interface has become clearer. The lighter background with bright colours on it gives a better visual representation of your project. Additionally, you may now choose a custom period to be displayed. This will help you focus on particular dates of your project for better analysis.
Epics with subcards grouping in Kanbanchi Gantt chart
We’ve also decided to make the Gantt chart more functional. The first new feature you may notice is that epics and their subcards are shown in groups. Probably, you are already used to it in case you use the List view. We’ve decided to implement the same logic in the Gantt chart. You may expand and collapse the groups to evaluate your project from different levels.
Updated left-side panel
As you look at the left-side panel you may notice that now it is customisable. You may select to display the following information:
- Card description
- Priority
- Progress
- List
- Tags
- Estimate
- Spent time
- Assignees
You may hide cards without dates to see only the cards with time frames set or collapse the panel completely to leave more space to the Gantt chart.
Milestones in Kanbanchi Gantt chart
And the last, but definitely not least addition – milestones. Since this release, you may flag a card as a milestone and add it to the Gantt chart. It will be displayed as a diamond symbol –
